Rimini, 05 April 2024 . The countdown is almost over: Rimini Expo Centre is ready to go on stage with the 7th edition of MIR . Live Entertainment Expo, the event by Italian Exhibition Group that gathers all the leading players in the Light, Sound, Visual, Integrated Systems & Broadcasting industry. From Sunday 7 to Tuesday 9 April, Rimini city, whose local area has a long-standing tradition in the industry, will be transformed into the capital of live entertainment.
MIR . Live Entertainment Expo 2024 is subdivided into 3 macro areas occupying 6 pavilions: MIR Club, MIR Tech and LIVE YOU PLAY.

MIR CLUB: RHYTHM, INNOVATION AND OUTSTANDING GUESTS
MIR Club is the area dedicated to the world of DJing, clubbing and electronic music production. A vibrant and stimulating space, ideal for hooking up with the latest trends and innovations that inspire club nights around the world. It returns with a totally revamped layout between exhibit areas featuring leading companies in DJ technology and an experience area with the jam-packed programme taking place in the Club Arena. What´s more, this year MIR Club offers great opportunities for new talents with Demolition Panel, hosting big names and professionals from the world of radio, recording, clubs and production such as Albertino, Joe T Vannelli, Big Fish, Ale Lippi and many others. Lastly, DJ Round Table will provide visitors with the chance to meet artistic directors and owners of Italian clubs and festivals. The entire event will come to a close with a bang with a DJ [sun] set Jam Session.

MIR TECH: INNOVATION AND INTEGRATION AT THE HEART OF MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGY
MIR Tech will feature all the latest in audio, video, lighting technologies for concerts, shows, education, retail, museums, IT and hospitality. AVC Systems Integration will be an exclusive showcase of the new trends characterizing the world of work, education, the design of spaces, as well as innovations in interactive and immersive solutions. With the support of MIR Tech´s Italian partner, Systems Integration Experience Community (SIEC), the area will be a dynamic space for exchange and comparison, providing valuable opportunities for learning and practical experimentation through seminars, training activities and experiential itineraries. MIR is also an essential meeting ground for light design professionals: through ´LD@WORK´ masterclasses and exclusive events in the Tech Arena area, experts will focus on the live world, on fashion and theatrical performances. Special events such as the Show History on ´POOH . Amici per Sempre . Live 2023´ concert performances will be another highlight. Not to mention the return of the second edition of The LightWalker Contest, a project founded and organized by RM Academy, the section of RM Multimedia dedicated to training, aimed at young operators or emerging under-30 lighting designers.

LIVE YOU PLAY: THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE IS BACK
LIVE YOU PLAY is an exclusive and unique format in the world, an unmissable opportunity for professionals raring to check out the performance of new equipment in their natural environment: on stage. Visitors can see all the audio, video and lighting technologies at work, ready to be tried and tested. This year´s edition will feature two different stages: ´Live System Contest´, the robotic stage with six audio systems in continuous rotation, and ´Contest Mixer´, for a direct comparison between various audio mixers, using a single Point Source audio system.
But the avant-garde solutions don´t stop here. MIR is proud to announce the return of its Immersive Rooms, a journey into the future of audio. The four demo rooms offer listeners the chance to experience immersive sound firsthand. The renowned Contest Colonne project makes a comeback as well. This one-of-a-kind initiative is dedicated to vertical sound diffusion systems, elevated on stands or columns of varying sizes. A carefully designed, special setup that provides high quality comparative listening.
