Rimini.The expo definitively confirms its role as the reference point for the entire show business sector, and not only in Italy

Technology, innovation, experimentation, training and networking are the key words that made the third edition of MUSIC INSIDE RIMINI, which was organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) and ended yesterday evening at Rimini expo centre, an authentic unique success on the Italian and international pro music trade scenario. The figures leave no room for doubt. The Rimini event was attended by a total of 12,000 visitors (professionals, technicians, prosumer and consumers), with an increase of 20% on 2017 figures, who were treated to a totally immersive experience during the three expo days, a figure that greatly exceeded the organizers´ initial expectations. The great enthusiasm of exhibitors and guests, felt in the 8 halls, leaves no doubt to the fact that this format has managed to capture the interest of trade members and the sector´s professionals and given a serious competent response to one of the market´s real requirements, which for many years has gone almost unanswered.

The integration of almost all the sectors of the product chain . b2b, b2expert and public . featured in the four thematic macro areas (Light&Sound, Professional Video, Integrated Systems and Music & DJ Producer), as well as the live shows and product demos and tests, confirmed that this was a true added value. But the expo was able to give even more, thanks to over 70 appointments with events, performances by well-known Italian and international artistes, meetings and training courses. The main objective, that of becoming the perfect place for exchanging experiences and knowledge, has thus been achieved.

The success Music Inside Rimini goes hand in hand with the economic growth of entertainment facilities in Italy, which has also shown interesting performance by Italy´s lighting equipment manufacturers, in second place in Europe. And the expo is already looking closely precisely at the opportunities that could be created abroad for its 2019 edition.

The Macfrut expo is currently running at Rimini expo centre (until 11th May). This will be followed, from May 17th to 19th, by the Expodental Meeting. The following expos, organized directly by IEG, will be RiminiWellness and FoodWell Expo, from 31st May to 3rd June, also at the Rimini expo centre.
