THE 3rd EDITION OF MUSIC INSIDE RIMINI IS ´ON STAGE´

Presented in Milan all the new features and the program of the event being held from 6th to 8th May 2018 at IEG´s Rimini expo centre Morgan and Stef Burns among the special guests.

.Milan, 26th March 2018 . If it´s true that three is the perfect number, the next edition of Music Inside Rimini . which will be precisely the third . promises to reconfirm and outdo the success of the first two. Italian Exhibition Group SpA (IEG), the event´s organizer, announced at the press conference the new features and the program of the event that will be staged from 6th to 8th May at RiminI expo centre.

The figures of Music Inside Rimini 2018 are even better: 9 halls, 20% more expo space, no less than 12 stages under the direction of Live You Play for live performances and much more. The forecasts of visitor attendance are also high, and in fact the aim is to easily exceed the almost 10,000 visitors of the previous edition. So an event with an even higher profile, an expo that claims - rightly . to have become the first reference point of the professional market of the music and entertainment world in all its application fields, not only at national but also international level. An Italian idea that, at its third edition, has all the features of a project destined to assert itself in a big way. MIR´s terrain that has turned into an across-the-board incubator and hub of professionalism, in-depth networking and training at every level of the music chain, as Marco Borroni, Division Group Brand Manager of MIR stressed. The particular appreciation and support for this format also emerged in the speech at the conference by Claudio Formisano, Chairman of the Confederation of European Music Industries (CAFIM), who described MIR as an opportunity not to be missed as it had been constructed and desired right from the outset as a long-term investment on behalf of the organizers of the fair itself. Last but not least, the importance given by Gianfranco Penocchio, Media Solution Country Manager with Sony Professional, who remarked on how MIR represents something really different on the Broadcasting and AV scenario, the only opportunity for hands-on demos able to show the public the technological and artistic backstage of the quality content production process, so real ´on-stage´ experimentation.

FOUR THEMATIC AREAS. NEW FOR 2018: MUSIC & DJ PRODUCER
Music Inside Rimini therefore involves the entire product chain - b2b, b2expert and public - by means of 4 well-established macro areas, i.e.: Light & Sound, core of the event and represented by manufacturers of audio and lighting technology for the entertainment world and event industry; Professional Video . ´Live Experience´, the sector dedicated to the world of Cinema, Television Studios and Visuals, where visitors will be able to test all the equipment featured in a dedicated context; Integrated Systems, an ample project developed in collaboration with Connessioni magazine, which includes numerous initiatives such as the multimedia AV Experience area, courses and seminars; lastly, Music & DJ Producer, the absolutely new feature at this third edition, dedicated to musical instruments, where it will be possible to try out guitars and effects, but also mixers, turntables, synths, MIDI and DMX controllers, with the assistance of some of the best-known endorsers.

MUSIC INSIDE FESTIVAL
Moreover, the first step of the new edition regarded a change in the schedule: as opposed to the previous edition, when it opened the event, the Music Inside Festival (MIF), will be held a week in advance: on Sunday 29 and Monday 30 April, with a format entitled X-TRAINTOWN, and a live show featuring a line-up of world-famous DJs. A calendar full of events with music considered this time from the point of view of a ´multi-venue festival´ which expands its border, starting from the expo hub and eventually directly involving the city of Rimini, creating an original combination of rhythm, dance and historical building of great importance for the area, areas that are not normally used for initiatives of this type, as was emphasized by Luca Pechino, MIF´s Artistic Director.

MORE SPACE FOR LIVE EVENTS
Thanks to the partnership with Live You Play, live events will be among the key features at MIR 2018. In fact, four of the event´s nine halls will host 12 stages on which live bands will alternate, staging 24 Live Shows, 24 Product Demos and 12 Virtual Checks every day. Visitors will have the possibility of discovering in detail all the equipment on stage, as well as what´s out of sight backstage. All the audio, video and lighting technology will be able to be tested with the help of specialists at visitors´ disposal on the stages and expo stands.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
Once again this year, an important role will be played by professional training, with conferences organized by DOC Servizi . leading European network in the coordination and provision of services for over 6,000 members (musicians, technician and artistes) and events promoted by partners that are sector leaders, such as RM MULTIMEDIA and CLAYPAKY. These will be interesting meeting opportunities for in-depth examination of some successful case histories, via the experience of those who took part in the development of the projects behind the scenes: ´Our Modena Park´, with Vasco Rossi´s technical staff (sound engineer Andrea Corsellini, lighting designer Giovanni Pinna, head of video content Marco Piva, director Peppe Romano and stage manager Diego Spagnoli) and ´Divine Light: Bringing the Paintings of Michelangelo to Life in Rome´, with the report of internationally famous lighting designer Rob Halliday, who handled the organization of the ´Giudizio Universale´ show in the Sistine Chapel, in collaboration with his colleague Bruno Poet.

THE PARTICIPATION OF MORGAN AND STEF BURNS
The training will be further widened, as was explained by Andrea Ponzoni, Product Manager Doc Live . Doc Servizi, with special meetings and conferences dedicated to some hot issues regarding the sector, such as for example the current and future problems of performing rights and secondary ticketing, monitored by some outstanding personalities such as Italo/Austrian performer NicoNote and journalist Pierfrancesco Pacoda, in turn accompanied by important guests of the calibre of Morgan, awaited on Sunday 6th May and Vasco Rossi´s long-standing guitarist Stef Burns, who will be at the Rimini expo on Monday 7th May.
